Kids After School Club Staff

We are looking for Trainee Teachers or people who love working with children to work at our fun after school clubs We pay £25 for the session, provide the lesson plans and full training is provided.

Our clubs are for children in KS2 and we teach VERY basic coding principals. You do not need coding experience to teach our after school clubs

Code Camp is Australia's leading childcare provider and we are growing fast in the UK We have partnered with over 150 UK primary schools since 2018 and taught over 120,000 kids to code globally since 2013. We are looking to make a hugely positive impact on STEM Education. Our staff work hard and love the collaborative effort of creating unique and engaging learning experiences for kids. We are looking for fun and energetic staff to assist at our after-school clubs in Surrey.

**The Roles**:

- Lead Instructor_
- Deliver our lesson plan to a class of 15 students
- Responsible for keeping the class on track
- Provide direction to assistants
- Teaching Assistant_
- Provides one on one help to individual students during class
- Any student falling behind will need you to guide them in the right direction
- Keep an eye out for any misbehaviour or disruption

**Required Skills**:

- Enjoy working with kids and have a vibrant and enthusiastic can do attitude
- Currently completing, or have completed your tertiary studies (A-levels at least)
- Mature outlook and common sense
- Work well in a team environment
- Be able to take initiative when working unsupervised
- Fluent conversational English
- Confident with computers and tech
- The coding that is taught at our KS2 coding clubs is very basic (the children are aged 6-10). We will ask all successful applicants to take an hour or two to familiarise themselves with the lesson plans that will be taught at our clubs._

**Key information**

We are currently looking for Trainee Teachers to work at primary schools in Dorking. The clubs run from 3:30pm-4:30pm and the days you choose to work are flexible.

**Please note - we can only offer 1 hour a day, we have after school clubs running Monday - Friday across Surrey. We currently have a position available for an after school session on a Wednesday in Lingfield.**
