**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea and smoothies
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in food service or the retail industry is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Experience of working with commercial espresso machines and other equipment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Batley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Barista experience: 1 year (required)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
