Lending Specialist

- Working with us at Heritage Bank as a Lending Specialist, you will be responsible for helping our members achieve their financial goals like first home purchases and beyond**About the role**

**What you’ll be doing**
- Hold quality conversations with members to determine how Heritage is able to assist with their financial goals
- Have flexibility to conduct Mortgage lending appointments with existing and potential members
- Execute business development plans in relation to member acquisition
- Support and coach other Heritage employees with lending knowledge and community engagement

We are looking for team members who are driven by achieving positive customer outcomes. You must be a confident communicator, be digitally savvy and able to quickly grasp new systems. You will have a natural ability to ask lots of questions and build connections, a self-starter with demonstrated understanding of mortgage loan products and broader personal banking products with recent experience in a similar in-branch role. You will have a strong desire to gain a holistic understanding of a member and their needs and clearly articulate what the best solution is and why, whilst never losing sight of the details.
