**The Hours**:This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. You'll work 1560 hours per year.

This impressive mansion and home farm is the only National Trust property that manages all its visitor attractions and activities in-house. What you'll be doing:As a Facilities Assistant, you'll assist with the day-to-day cleanliness and presentation the National Trust’s buildings and outdoor spaces. You’ll turn your practical hand to all sorts of cleaning tasks, ensuring all our spaces are kept in a clean and presentable working order. You'll also be asked to help with some manual work such as unloading deliveries.

Duties such as cleaning, sweeping and litter picking will form a core part of the role, both inside and outdoors and make you a key presence across the estate, both for our supporters and our colleagues. You’ll ensure the highest standards of customer service by always being approachable, visible, and implementing a ‘customer comes first’ attitude. Helping within other teams will also form part of your role as needed.
