We are currently recruiting for a **Support Worker **with access to Truro for working purposes. This is a **part-time (24~ hour) **position **4-days per week** from **4pm until 10pm. **You would be supporting a gentleman with Parkinson's and dementia with medication, personal care, meal preparation, companionship, and enabling their mobility and access to the community.

**Essential**:

- Be of a caring and empathetic nature.
- Be able to drive and have access to a vehicle for work (with the exception of live-in care).
- Be able to support with intimate personal care.
- Be able to work on a rota basis, including, weekends and Bank Holidays.
- Be able to do sleep-in’s on a rota basis (where required).
- Be prepared to support people away on holiday if required.
- Be prepared to not smoke whilst at work.
- Ability to use basic IT systems.

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience within the health and social care sector.
- NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care.

Pay: £12.00 per hour
