An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and diligent Administrator who will be based within the Adult Mental Health Department.

We are looking for someone who has proven excellent administrative and clerical skills, is a strong team player with excellent communication skills. A welcoming telephone manner is vital as the post holder will have direct contact with patients and health professionals. Due to the area you will be working in you would need to demonstrate compassion and a good understanding around possible complex and sensitive situations.

You will be involved inputting accurate patient information onto databases and systems including WCCIS, therefore experience of databases is important. The post holder will also be responsible for supporting the local team with administrative duties, typing of patient letters and reports, appointment bookings, waiting list validation and other duties as required.

This post is fixed term for 9 months due to the needs of the service.
