We fulfil over 2,000 orders per year, from supplying hire equipment to events such as Cheltenham Gold Cup, Silverstone and The BRIT Awards, to supplying temporary kitchen units to the NHS and National Grid.

Working as part of the Events and Cold Rooms team, our **Cold Room team (Yard Operative)** will clean, maintain, pick and store our Walk In Cold Rooms. Our Walk In Cold Rooms are made up of module panels built in widths of up to 4.8m and to an unlimited length.

This is a physically demanding job and requires spending time outdoors in all weathers for cleaning of the panels.

You need to be able to commute to our warehouse in central Bristol.

There are also opportunities to go out on site with the Events Team to deliver, install and derig our Walk In Cold Rooms at events across the U.K so the ability to drive is advantageous and the requirement to travel and possibly stay away for a few nights is required.

On average you will work between 48-50 hours per week. Established team members earn up to £27,000pa.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Pick clients orders correctly and load them onto our vehicles safely
- Assemble Cold Rooms on client site to clients specifications
- Remove Cold Rooms at the end of the customers hire and return equipment to the Warehouse
- Clean all cold room panels and equipment, identifying damage and missing parts
- Store cold room equipment and appliances safely and in the correct warehouse location

The work is of a very physical nature. You may be required to drive to various locations across the UK, you maybe required to stay away from home and work additional hours.

**Working Hours**
- Monday to Friday with overtime available some Saturdays and Sundays
- The hours will usually be between 7.30am - 4pm when working in the yard
- You will work a minimum of 8 hours, however some days are longer if on site

**Essential Requirements**:

- Previous experience of working in a physically demanding role such as labourer
- Experience of working in the hospitality/event industry would be advantageous
- Experience of heavy cleaning using chemicals and pressure washers would be beneficial
- Experience of working in a fast paced role would be preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills

Pay: Up to £27,000.00 per year
