Nursery Cook

We are an outstanding nursery, looking to appoint a kind, considerate and caring Nursery Chef to ensure that all dietary needs are met and that children are eating a varied, nutritional diet each day.

**Key Responsibilities**

The key responsibilities of a Nursery Chef include, but are not limited to:

- To ensure any dietary/cultural/religious preferences are catered for.
- To order, store and cook food appropriately.
- To participate in keeping the kitchen clean and safe.

**The Person**

The key skills and qualities of a Nursery Chef are:

- Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Previous experience of working in a Nursery or School setting highly desirable.
- Excellent cooking skills.
- Clear DBS (we will pay for an enhanced DBS Check).
- Good timekeeping and organisational skills.
- An enthusiastic, flexible, can-do attitude.
- We are a nut-free nursery and have children with very severe allergies, so we need to ensure we have somebody who has excellent knowledge on this.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour
