We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 4 Assistant Psychologist (Fixed Term for 12 months) to work as part of the local systems partners YOUnited Referral Hub that supports access to help for children and young people’s emotional health and wellbeing and mental health needs in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

We’re looking for an Assistant Psychologists in our YOUnited Referral Hub who will help us continue to develop and improve patient experience of CAMHs services. We are committed to change things for the better with the children, young people and families we work with.

The role involves working alongside the Clinical Lead and other team members, as part of a supportive integrated team, to enable effective implementation and on-going delivery of pathways and protocols in order that the team can deliver safe and effective, high quality compassionate services.

This post is for an Assistant Psychologist to be part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to clinical work and service development within the YOUnited Referral Hub. You will contribute under the close supervision of a qualified applied psychologist and the post will have varied responsibilities.

- Work alongside colleagues to support the processing and consultation with children,

families and professionals requesting CAMHs services.
- Assist in the gathering of information and analysis of information from clinical records
- Participate in the multi-disciplinary weekly meetings to support the clinical effectiveness of the referral service.
- Support CAMHS colleagues with the internal and external training and group work.
- Assist in clinically related administration, conducting audits, collecting data and statistics, development of audit and/or research projects.
