**M&E Host - Courtyard Glasgow SEC**

This position is based on a full time contract.
Gross Salary: £competitive

We have an exciting opportunity for a Meeting & Events Host to join our highly successful team here at the courtyard Glasgow.
Your main responsibility will be to oversee the daily operation of the meetings and events department, you will also have responsibilities within the restaurant. Working alongside senior management and team members, to ensure that the highest level of customer service is being delivered and the expectations of our guests are consistently exceeded.

**Your main duties will include**:

- You will make sure that the guest has an experience that exceeds their expectations by delivering a caring and professional service in a relaxed and stylish environment
- You will actively and visibly participate in the daily operations
- You will proactively build a long term relationship with guests and key partners
- You will be knowledgeable with all stages of the event process
- Prepare conference rooms and venues according to our routines
- Welcome guests and respond to their questions regarding information about the hotel and its surroundings
- Be well prepared and have good knowledge on today's and future bookings for the conference area
- Knowledge of Opera system and MS Outlook would be beneficial.
