**Café Assistant**

Join the vibrant team at Torus Foundation, located at the heart of the community FireFit Hub, as our new Café Assistant. This is a pivotal role within our catering team, dedicated to preparing and serving a variety of delicious food and beverages at Café Recharge. Whether it's for youth zone members, community visitors, or commercial clients, your work will contribute significantly to the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere of our café.

**This is an important role in which you will**:

- Prepare and serve food and beverages, ensuring high-quality catering for external and internal bookings.
- Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system, always maintaining excellent levels of customer service.
- Manage stock effectively under the guidance of the Café Supervisor and maintain a clean and hygienic working environment in line with our standards.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Have a passion for food services, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging positively with a diverse range of customers and team members.
- Demonstrate commitment to health and safety, good hygiene regulations, and the safeguarding and welfare of all our visitors, especially young people, and vulnerable adults.
