Panel Wirer

**The role**

Looking for a skilled panel wirer to join the engineering team of a leading provider of emissions monitoring & gas detection systems. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring that all systems are built to the highest standards, delivered on time, and meet production obligations.

**What you’ll do**:

- Produce electrical control panels, racks, and products according to provided instructions and drawings
- Install wiring and component support systems such as trunking, DIN rail, and conduit
- Carry out installation, identification, and termination of mains, LV, control, communication & I/O wiring
- Fit out of analyser housings according to instructions and drawings
- Install cable support systems such as tray, basket, conduit, and support channels
- Install panels, racks, and ancillary equipment such as lighting, power distribution, and ventilation
- QC testing and snag defect resolution
- Attend customer sites to carry out on site install of equipment on a Nationwide basis

**What you’ll need**:

- Experience in a similar role within a production setting
- HNC or equivalent in relevant area of engineering
- Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and schematics
- Technical knowledge of electrical control systems, panel build & electrical installation
- Test and inspection certificate
