**SQL Developer**

The purpose of the role of SQL Developer is to support the firm’s Innovative Business Intelligence platform and the company data landscape by querying clinical system databases and ad-hoc reporting.

The role is preliminary responsible for querying complex data sets, replicating queries from clinical system front-end to SQL queries and then validating the results.

**Roles and Responsibilities for the SQL Developer**:

- Explore the logic used in clinical system reports and translate them into SQL queries.
- Collection and analysis of requirements
- Creation of advanced DW-models from the raw clinical dataset
- Crafting and executing queries upon request for data (EMIS and S1)
- Assisting Datawarehouse team for hosting and cleansing the data
- Working closely with the Quality Assurance team to validate results and logics

**Skills and Qualifications for the SQL Developer**:

- Strong SQL knowledge and experience AZURE SQL and ADF essential including experience of the Azure Ecosystem
- Knowledge and experience of working with clinical system datasets (EMIS, S1 and/or Vision) desirable
- Experience in designing ETL and DW solutions
- Experience in Python and/or R
- Any knowledge of Python, R, Power BI are hugely desired
- BI DEVELOPMENT

You may have experience of the following: Data Warehouse Development, Database Architect, Data Engineer, ETL Developer, Data Analyst, Data Manager, Python, R, SQL, MS SQL BI (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), Apache Beam, AirFlow, Azure, Data Lake, AWS, and Power BI

Expert in Azure SQL, Azure Data Flow and SQL (on premise) to query complex clinical datasets
