The Theatre Department are currently looking for a theatre practitioner to join our existing band 7 team for a six-month period to drive theatre efficiency, support delivery of the Trust Elective Recovery targets and importantly highlight areas where theatre modernisation might prove most beneficial.This is an exciting time for the department and we remain committed, following recent business case approval, to build a culture where staff wellbeing and development are of paramount impYou must therefore possess a leadership style that enables you to coach, drive and positively support all theatre staff as we look to collectively deliver operational efficiency and the very highest standards of patient care. Strong clinical credibility within the Theatre environment and a problem-solving attitude will also be critical to the role as we look to develop new and smarter ways of working.As a band 7 you will be accountable to the Operational Matron and will provide the main communication route between the wider workforce and the Senior Management team.

Important note.Given the nature of the role there is an expectation that the post holder/s would be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
