Our client is a software logistics company who specialises in route optimisation and planning.

We are looking for a Junior QA Analyst who is motivated to ensure the quality of the company’s product.

You will be testing software to make sure it is reliable, fully functional, and user-friendly before it is released to the end-users.

Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm.

Salary up to £24,000.

Brighton based, hybrid working.

Key duties:

- Utilise automated testing tools.
- Be able to understand and interpret functional wireframes and specifications.
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
- Install, maintain, or use software testing programs as required.
- Investigate product problems referred by the customer support team.
- Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source.
- Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.
- Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Facilitate effective team interaction.
