An exciting opportunity has become available within our Sodexo healthcare segment. We are looking for an experienced Technical Supervisor with electrical or multi-skilled technical background to join our team at Leamington Spa Mega Lab

In this role you will be responsible for the operational management of the building and engineering services for Sodexo including staff & sub-contractor management. You will liaise with all levels of medical and NHS staff whilst building & maintaining effective relationships with client & service providers.

This is a unique opportunity to join a business that will continue to be in transition with multiclient base that will all have different drivers so experience of successfully building relationships is essential to be successful in this role.

**_The role is based in Leamington Spa working 35 hours 5 days a week out of 7 on rotation._**
- Due to the nature of this role you will be required to complete BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance._

**Role Responsibility**:

- Responsible for the operational management of the building and engineering services for Sodexo
- Megalab, including staff & sub-contractor management.
- Build & maintain effective relationships with Client & Trust representatives & service providers
- In charge of a team of resident engineers, that will work a split system of 4 days on and 4 off.
- This role is M-F day time only. With Out of hours - on call support via telephone.
- To ensure that where required any issues are highlighted to prevent failures.
- Assisting Sodexo to fulfil their obligations to maintain the estate and offer a 30 min response to issues whilst on site.
- To develop SOP’s to carry out the tasks safely and efficiently.
- Ordering and maintaining stock levels for repairs
- Proven substantial experience within the Trade of maintenance and repair.
- Sound understanding of Health and Safety at Work Regulations
- Be able to investigate and report on items within their role
- Be computer literate, preferable with knowledge of building management and CAFM systems
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Be Self-motivated and able to adapt to changing situations
- Be able to demonstrate an aptitude for problem solving using a logical approach
- Higher Technical or Graduate calibre.
- Experience of direct labour supervision & mentoring.
- Experience of working within an IiP framework.
- Experience of working successfully with professional colleagues of other technical disciplines
- Experience of finding technical solutions
- Experience of cost control within direct labour & sub-contractor work spheres.

**Desirable**
- Knowledge and training in Fire Alarm systems
- Experience of working within an Acute Hospital environment
