Based near to Leicester APAC Group is a family business selling to the floristry, party, horticultural, event, garden, Christmas and giftware industries.

We are a major supplier to wholesalers, supermarkets and garden centres throughout the UK and Europe. In addition, we operate 22 cash and carries around the UK selling to retail businesses and end users.

Our bricks and mortar stores trade under the names Country Baskets and Whittingtons. We have a large customer base and stock in excess of 30,000 product lines.

**Job Purpose**

We are looking for a creative and energetic person to join our design team to help with catalogue and leaflet design, product design and point of sale design for our stores.

This role includes
- Design and creation of catalogues and leaflets
- Working with our marketing team to produce required artwork for their marketing campaigns
- Product design - work with our buying team to come up with product designs. For example - designs for use on plant pots, flower wraps, greeting cards, gift bags etc.
- 3d Modelling of product designs that we can present to our customers. Typically these would be bespoke items supplied into supermarkets.
- Help with photography / image editing where required.
- Help with designing artwork for use on our exhibition stands / in our showroom
- Ensure artwork is produced to a print-ready standard
- Be highly motivated, enthusiastic and proactive
- Exceptional design skills and a good attention to detail
- Able to design for all print and digital media
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritise appropriately in order to meet deadlines
- An understanding of the latest design trends and technologies
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
