Commercial Broker

Commercial Broker required to join a major long-established independent insurance broker due to continuous growth.
Managing a portfolio of commercial accounts you will deal with renewals and mid-term adjustments and provide broking support for the Account Executive. The role entails dealing with commercial clients across a range of industry sectors including Constructionand Transport. You will liaise with insurers and be responsible for determining the best cover to suit the needs of the client which would be predominately non motor risks such as Liabilities and Property. You will need to organise and check insurance policydocumentation, ensuring adequate coverage and deal with any client queries.
Its important that you can bring a good level of general insurance knowledge for this role, preferably gained at an insurer or broker. If you are working towards any qualifications under the Chartered Insurance Institute, this would be an advantage. Youwill need strong attention to detail and be able to demonstrate strong negotiation and communication skills. Furthermore, you will need to be able to build rapport to develop strong client and insurer relationships.
