Our national Real Estate team provides a complete range of legal and advisory services on all aspects of residential development for a wide range of residential developers and Registered Providers (including FTSE housebuilders). We advise on and draft headsof terms, conditional contracts, option and promotion agreements as well as all associated construction, planning and infrastructure issues. Our clients range from national housebuilders, regional developers, social housing providers and individual landowners.We represent clients in a range of projects from multi-million acquisitions and disposals as well as site assembly for residential development.

We are currently recruiting for a Real Estate Solicitor orAssociate 2-6 YRS PQE to join our Real Estate team to assist with our development work and to work with our established development team. Our Registered Provider workstream is growing and so the majorityof your work profile will be work for these clients, working closely with a Principal Associate who specialises in this work. Experience with Registered Provider clients and the social housing sector would therefore be beneficial but not crucial. There willalso be opportunities to carry out other real estate work for our Registered Provider clients including asset purchases, stock transfers, commercial leasing and securitisation work.

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Assist senior members of the Real Estate team
- Manage own caseload of Real Estate development
- Provide support to other members of the team
- Confident and personable in dealing with clients
- Draft and prepare various real estate documents
- Liaise with internal and external parties
- Supervise and develop more junior members of staff as may be required
- Ensure that work produced is to the highest standard
- Manage own time effectively
- Complete MI procedures as and when required
- Achieve set financial and chargeable targets
- Ensure relevant deadlines, quality measures and KIPS are adhered to
- Comply with relevant policies and procedures
- Work in accordance with Weightmans’ values

**About You**As the role is varied, we are looking for you to have a flexible approach to the work you do and be able to adapt to different tasks. We also require you to have:

- 2-6 years PQE experience is essential/preferred
- Someone who wants to work on a wide range of RE development and regeneration work
- Client facing role
- Excellent team work skills
- Strong academics and technical knowledge
- Experience of and keen interest in real estate work
- Excellent IT and typing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and targets
- Flexible approach
