St. Mary’s (Endowed) CE VA Primary School in Roughton is a small but vibrant school, and with Happisburgh Primary forms the Lighthouse Federation. We are proud to be a Church school and foster a nurturing environment where everyone is supported to aim high and achieve success.

We are looking for someone with a flexible and forward thinking approach to support children in key stage two on a one to one and small group basis. The work will mostly be based in our enhanced SEN provision with children in Year 3 and 4. You should be curious and open to new ways of working to ensure that you are meeting both the learning and emotional, social and academic needs of the children that you support.

We are keen to hear from applicants who;
- Have experience of supporting children with SEN in Key Stage Two
- Can demonstrate a good understanding of the needs of pupils with ASD, ADHD and social, emotional and mental health difficulties
- Have an enthusiasm for learning and can take the initiative in adapting the curriculum to make it engaging and relevant to all children
- Are able to establish trusting and positive relationships with children
- Have good literacy and numeracy skills and are able to communicate effectively with other professionals and parents
- Are positive and enthusiastic
- Are a flexible team player and understand the joys and challenges of working in a small team
- are self-reflective and open to further professional development
- are supportive of our Christian ethos and has an understanding of life in a small school
- Have a real desire to make a difference and to achieve the best for all of the children you work with
