**Yard Operative**

**Salary**:£10.26per hour plus Veolia benefits

**Hours**:40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 07:00 till 15:30

**Location**:Folkestone, CT20 3SP

**What will you be doing?**
- Sweeping up the yard and maintaining site cleanliness
- Litter picking of site as and when needed
- General yard maintenance such as weeding grass cutting, painting
- Sorting and moving waste streams as and when required
- Traffic control / Advising general public of correct bays/methods to ensure materials go into the correct bins
- Maintaining Health & Safety standards of site
- Any other request from the management team

**What are we looking for?**
- Waste management experience would be advantageous
- Good communication skills
- Work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and customer orientated
- Drives health and safety culture
