Playback, Inverness's groundbreaking four-floor venue, is seeking meticulous, extraverted and skilled Bar Supervisors to join our dynamic team. As a Bar Supervisor at Playback, you will be the architect of brand excellence, focusing on the unique aspects of our bar operations. Your role extends beyond the day-to-day, involving contributions to cocktail menu writing, bar training, cellar management, and implementing efficient speed of service systems. Join us in delivering an exceptional bar experience that perfectly aligns with Playback's distinctive identity.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Bar Operations Excellence**: Oversee all facets of bar operations, strictly adhering to brand standards. Ensure the bar team delivers top-notch service while maintaining the quality and uniqueness of our beverage offerings.
- **Cocktail Menu Innovation**: Contribute to cocktail menu development, bringing creativity and expertise to enhance our offerings and align them with brand identity.
- **Opening and Closing Procedures**: Execute meticulous opening and closing procedures for the bar area, upholding brand standards in cleanliness, setup, and presentation. Guarantee that all bar-related equipment is properly maintained.
- **Duty Manager Shifts**: Assume duty manager responsibilities during shifts, with a focus on the bar's brand presentation and customer service. Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for staff and patrons, ensuring a positive and brand-aligned experience.
- **Team Leadership**:Lead the bar team by example, emphasising adherence to brand standards in service, drink preparation, and presentation. Motivate and guide the team to consistently deliver a unique and exceptional bar experience.
- **Bar Training**: Take charge of training bar staff, ensuring that all team members are well-versed in brand standards, cocktail preparation, and customer service.
- **Cellar Management**: Contribute to efficient cellar management, overseeing stock levels, rotation, and quality control to align with brand standards.
- **Operational Support**: Provide hands-on support in bar-related and venue management operational tasks, strictly adhering to brand standards. Assist in inventory management, implement health and safety protocols, and contribute to the efficiency of the bar area in alignment with our brand identity.
- **Speed of Service Systems**: Implement and refine speed of service systems to enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- **Customer Satisfaction**: Prioritise customer satisfaction by actively engaging with patrons, addressing feedback, and ensuring that the bar team strictly adheres to brand standards, creating a memorable and brand-aligned bar experience.
- **Adaptability**: Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic bar environment, adapting to changing circumstances while strictly adhering to brand standards and contributing to the overall success of Playback's bar operations.
- **Team Player**:assume any tasks set by the senior management team required for the running and development of the business.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role or senior bartender within the bar and hospitality industry, with a focus on brand adherence.
- Meticulous organisational and multitasking abilities to handle bar opening and closing procedures, duty manager shifts, and team leadership.
- Leadership skills to motivate and guide a bar team, emphasising strict compliance with brand standards.
- Ability to collaborate with the management team, supporting various responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with both bar staff and patrons.
- Eagerness to lead by example, setting a consistently high standard of brand excellence in the bar area.

**Salary**: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
