Workshop Operative

Our Client based in Tunstall ST6 are seeking suitable candiates for their workshop.

Hours of work are 7.30am to 5.00pm with a half an hour break Monday to Friday.

Overtime would be a 6.30am start during the week and working 6am to 12 noon or 8am to 12 noon on a Saturday depending on the workload. Overtime is paid at time and a half.

The job role consists of working within a workshop environment and will entail:
Using standard stock items cutting, drilling, tapping and assembling them to produce job specific/project specific modular aluminium balustrade panels (with glass/perfor vertical bar infills). You will be working to 2D drawings.

Cutting, drilling, tapping stainless steel circular/rectangular hollow sections. You will be working to 2D drawings.

Cutting to length their range of aluminium extensions. You will be working to 2D drawings.

All necessary tools/machinery will be provided.

**Salary**: £10.00-£10.50 per hour
