Street Ranger

**Street Ranger, Leeds Business Improvement District.**
We're looking for someone to complete our Street Ranger team, to work alongside businesses to help create a cleaner and safer city centre. LeedsBID Rangers provide a highly visible, customer facing street presence, responding and reacting to business requests.

**The Basics**

Working 5 days over 7. The service operates 364 days a year.

37.5hrs per week.

Based in Leeds city centre.

**The Role**

You will be working as part of a team to undertake deep clean work using jetting equipment and responding to businesses in the LeedsBID area.

Provide a visible presence in the city centre, giving excellent customer service and to provide a warm welcome to everyone in the LeedsBID area/city centre.

Be ambassadorial, friendly & knowledgeable about Leeds and LeedsBID by responding to requests for information, directions and promoting Leeds as a great place to be.

Be able to communicate professionally face to face and by telephone/radio/social media.

Support the promotional, marketing and events activities of LeedsBID.

Respond to concerns raised by levy payer and non-levy payer businesses within the LeedsBID area.

Undertake individual Street Ranger project responsibilities.

Conduct regular visual audits, report health and safety hazards, respond to cleaning issues ensuring problems are resolved as quick as possible.

Portray a professional and responsive image of yourself and LeedsBID.

Work collaboratively and closely with a variety of business and city partners.

**Essential Requirements**

To have a full clean driving license.

Be over 25 years of age to meet our insurance criteria.

Excellent communication skills and to be comfortable with people in a range of situations.

Be a self-starter, a problem solver and a good team player.

Be competent with technology and recording data.

To love working outdoors in all weathers.

**Nice to have**

NEBOSH / ISOH Training / COSHH Training

Manual Handling

First AID

IPAF License
- All PPE and uniform will be supplied by LeedsBID._
- All associated training will be given._

Pay: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
