Gloagburn is a well established family owned restaurant and farm shop on the outskirts of Perth, PH1 1QL.

Our 130 cover restaurant is open 8.30am to 5.30pm serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea with the emphasis on good quality, seasonal, local and Scottish produce and an excellent standard of customer service. In addition we hold steak nights on the last Friday in the month October through March and have an onsite take away unit open for the summer months.

Our busy and recently expanded Farm shop includes all the local produce you would expect as well as ingredients from around the world, our own bakery and in house butchery.

**The job**

**supervisor**
- We have a vacancy arising for an experienced assistant to support the Restaurant manager in the daily running of our restaurant
- To ensure the quality, consistency and standard of all food service.
- To ensure excellence in customer service.
- To assist with leading, managing and motivating a daily team of up to 10 staff on a daily basis
- To assist with individual coaching and team training.
- Assisting as required with rotas, orders and other associated admin.
- Leading by example as a hands on part of the team

**The person**

The successful applicant will be a cheerful, positive person with a strong back ground in hospitality and some experience in a high volume fast paced environment. You will be able to run a shift and communicate well as part of a team. Customer skills are a top priority as well as the quality and consistency of the service provided.

You should be calm and efficient, have great attention to detail, and thrive under pressure.

The role would suit someone with several years experience looking for an opportunity to progress and develop management skills.

**The package**
- Approximately 38 hours per week working five days from seven
- Good shift patterns staggered between 8am and 6pm plus one evening a month, October to March
- Salary up to £15.00 per hour plus tips (circa £2,000 per annum)
- 20% Discount across shop and coffee shop

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
