As a Generalist HR Advisor, you will have a full HR operational remit, to contribute to and advise senior leaders and managers on all HR aspects within the full employee life cycle. Whilst supporting delivery of current HR strategies and projects you will be required to have comprehensive knowledge of Employment Law and HR best practice.
- Experience of working with managers on Employee Relations across absence management, performance improvements and disciplinaries
- Experience of working with different levels of stakeholder
- Assisting with performance reviews and appraisals including evaluating feedback and addressing training needs of employees
- Assist with on boarding /offboarding including exit interviews
- Ad hoc reporting on trends
- Support HR Manager across the business in all things HR
- Be active and creative in adhoc HR projects
- Support key business transformation initiatives, driving continuous improvement around organisational design, culture change and employee engagement.
- Coach and guideline managers around employee relations issues including disciplinaries, absence management and grievances.
- Develop, enhance, and implement HR operational procedures and processes for UK.
- Drive resourcing activity to respond to changes in demographics and business growth. Also support the implementation of cost efficiency initiatives and restructuring as required.
- Develop training and development plans including succession planning activities.
- Deliver training and workshops to line managers on people processes and manage self-service topics.

**Essential**
- Proven HR generalist experience gained in a HR Advisor role, or similar, ideally gained within a manufacturing setting
- A member of the CIPD, with at least a CIPD Level 5 qualification
- Competent knowledge of UK Employment Law
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency using Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel and HR systems IT and systems skills.
- Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- High level of attention to detail
- Professional, positive, and approachable attitude
- Motivated and able to manage a varied workload
- Solid experience of recruitment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
