**Talent Acquisition Administration Apprentice**

**Salary**:£16,851 - £19,149

**Hours**: Full time

We are currently recruiting an Administration Apprentice to join our Talent Acquisition Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced in-house recruitment team providing services to North Yorkshire Police (NYP), North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service (NYFRS) and the Office of the Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner (OPFCC).
- This role is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to gain and develop their business administration skills within a public sector environment.

**What will the role involve?**

As an Administration Apprentice you will be responsible for supporting our team of Recruiters and administering the on-boarding of a diverse range of talent. With a significant focus on customer service, you will act as a point of contact for recruitment and on-boarding enquiries.

This is a fast paced and rewarding administrative role, supporting in the day-to-day co-ordination of key recruitment campaigns for 2 emergency services.
- Main duties and responsibilities will include:

- You will be responsible for the accurate recording of information on systems (such as our Applicant Tracking System).
- You will effectively build and maintain relationships with a range of cross functional teams which support the on-boarding process of all new hires including; payroll, vetting, clothing, occupational health and ICT teams.

**Eligibility and role requirements**:

- Applicants will have excellent interpersonal, customer service and time-management skills alongside attention to detail and the ability to maintain records. Professionalism, integrity and confidentiality is key to the role as well as being proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages (including Excel, Word and Outlook).

**Administration Apprenticeship**:

- This role will allow you to gain valuable professional experience whilst studying towards a recognised Business Administrator level 3 qualification.
- Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, you will undertake an Apprenticeship with our partner Straight A Training. The apprenticeship will allow you to achieve the skills and experience to ensure you are equipped with the knowledge and understanding to become a qualified professional.
- Throughout your study, you will have the support of Straight A Training and as an organisation we are committed to supporting you throughout your studies, with time incorporated in your working week to allow you to have sufficient time to complete your modules.

**Additional Information**:

- Your apprenticeship should take between 12 and 18 months to complete with the potential to lead to a permanent position within the team dependent on your performance and role availability.

The role is based at our Head Office in Northallerton, with hybrid working arrangements including home working.
