E-rostering Administrator

To provide full administrative support to the e-rostering team and its users. To be responsible for providing general administrative tasks to deliver an effective e-rostering service to the organisation by supporting Nursing, Allied Health Professionals, Administrative, Estates & Facilities, etc. To maintain the accuracy of data within the e-Rostering system through regular data uploads from internal systems; this includes supporting from ESR to the e-Rostering system. The post holder will be supporting the production of workforce reports for a variety of different purposes which in essence support the Trusts strategic goals.

The post holder with require tact, diplomacy, persuasive and negotiating skills to support the understanding by others of data produced by the post holder due to its complex nature and deciding when to escalate issues to their manager. The post holder will be dealing with complex information which will require sensitivity and confidentiality to be applied in some instances. To logically provide solutions/advice to issues/queries arising by users when operating the system, escalating any issues to the e-Rostering officers/e-Rostering specialist/e-Rostering Team lead. Design, produce and maintain a library of guidance notes to support training for users of the e-Rostering system and to ensure the e-Rostering Intranet page is kept up to date.

Transfer data from the e-rostering system into user friendly information with explanations as appropriate to support interpretation and understanding of the information by the end user. Maintain confidentiality and be aware of situations where information, normally considered confidential, might need to be passed on. Import staff details from the Trusts Electronic Staff Record (ESR) on a daily basis to ensure the e-Rostering system accurately reflects staff details. Plan and arrange meetings for the e-Rostering team with regards to training, audit meetings, refresher sessions and new department buildings by liaising with the appropriate staff No budgetary responsibilities.
