**121 ADHD Support Assistant**:
**Location**: Skegness

**Job Type**:Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

**Salary**: £77 - £85 Per day

A beautiful primary school in the heart of Skegness are looking for an experienced individual to help support an ADHD pupil on a 121 basis. This school are highly praised for providing top quality education and support to all pupils. Whilst being a mainstream primary school, this school are dedicated to making sure all SEN pupils receive all the support they require and deserve.

**Job Duties**:

- Provide one-to-one support to students with Attention Deficient/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in an educational setting
- Assist students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities
- Support students in developing social skills and promoting positive behaviour
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for students with ADHD
- Support students during transitions between activities and locations within the school

**Required Qualifications**:

- A valid enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to process one.

**Experience**:

- Prior experience working with individuals with Attention Deficient/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in an educational or similar setting is essential.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Sound knowledge of ADHD and its impact on learning and development
- Familiarity with different strategies and interventions for supporting students with ADHD
- Ability to adapt and modify learning materials and resources to meet individual needs
- Proficiency in using assistive technology and specialised resources for students with ADHD
- Strong observation and assessment skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding policies
- Good understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with ADHD and strategies for supporting their learning and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, teachers, and other professionals

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Any qualification in SEN or ADHD support
- First Aid certification
