**CNC Turner (Precision Engineering)**

**£30,000 - £32,500 basic £40,000 - £45,000 package including - annual bonus + excellent overtime +excellent shift premium + great company benefits**

Are you a CNC Turner from a precision engineering background looking to join an exception Tier 1 supplier to the aerospace, defence and commercial sector where you can expect industry leading specialist training and career development?

On offer is a role with a company that specialise in precision engineering and have seen a dramatic increase in demand over the last 12 months due to securing new long term contracts. **Responsibilities**:

- Set and operate CNC lathes, some of which have live tooling
- Check and inspect own work using inspection equipment (Verniers, micrometres, SPG's and PPG's)
- Manufacture components from engineering drawings to the correct quality standards
- Ensure that preventative machine maintenance schedules are strictly carried out
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment at all times

**The person**:

- Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent (indentures accepted)
- Aerospace industry experience desired
- Knowledge of Fanuc control systems
