**Your field of responsibility**

As Global Head of Asset Management (AM) Compliance you will lead an organization of over 80, located across several regions including Switzerland. You will play a key leadership role, support oversight and management of the Compliance function and its staff, provide thoughtful challenge, direct, and oversee Compliance control and risk management activities for Asset Management.

In this role, you will be part of the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) function and a member of the Compliance Executive Committee. You will report to CCO Credit Suisse with a dotted reporting line to the CEO of AM.
- Provide effective oversight, coordination, and mentorship to all AM Compliance personnel in relation to their Compliance activities
- Set and drive the AM Compliance strategic priorities
- Chair the CCO AM Management Committee attended by all direct reports
- Participate in relevant management and committee meetings
- Provide independent oversight and control over compliance and regulatory risks relating to the AM Business
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant CCO, AM and cross functional partners
- Develop and deliver Compliance management information and reports to AM and CCO Management routinely
- Advise AM senior management on compliance and regulatory risks and provide a multidisciplinary view as to the state of those risks across the business
- Design, maintain, oversee, develop, and implement the compliance program (incl. advisory, policies, training, monitoring, testing, surveillance, regulatory change, and enforcement)
- Promote compliance and set standards by advising and assisting AM personnel in day-to-day business activities
- Monitor business activities on all levels based on regular and ad-hoc compliance risk assessments (incl. exercise of routine controls and thematic reviews)
- Active participation in the annual business led Risk and Control Self Assessments
- Provide structured and regular in-depth analysis of potential area of risk
- Routinely monitor and assess regulatory changes and developments, inform key partners of developments and their impact on the firm to determine appropriate actions to ensure compliance
- Act as the visible leader and role model for AM Compliance, including championing and supporting talent, as well as providing role model behavior in personal conduct of business to the highest ethical standards

**Your skills and experience**

We are looking for highly motivated applicants with a minimum of 15 years Compliance experience in the financial industry, preferably in Asset Management.
- Exposure to and experience building relationships with regulators
- Sound compliance experience and judgment
- High ethical and control standards, commensurate with working in a critical control function
- Proficient communication and presentation skills
- Structured, independent, proactive, and self-motivated to initiate and drive projects and matters forward to resolution
- Solutions oriented, creative and pragmatic with ability to work independently but a standout colleague
- Proven ability to holistically assess risks and provide sound analysis
- Effective interpersonal and coordination skills
- Ability to handle multiple challenging priorities in a complex working environment
- Ability to effectively drive consensus when seeking to resolve global and regional matters
- Good understanding of a wide array and investment strategies (PE, Hedge, RE, Insurance, etc.) and legal structures
- Proven people management experience
