A Senior Audit Manager is being recruited by an established firm of Chartered Accountants in the Wimborne area.
Reporting to the Director, as Senior Audit Manager you will have responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients to deliver audit services. This will involve management of the team, co-ordination, forecasting and planning the workflow, oversee training,planning income and extensive liaison with clients.
Key responsibilities:

- management of client portfolio
- set team and individual objectives
- maintain regulatory and company standards
- carry out annual fee reviews
- control budgets, chargeable hours and recoverability for all team members
- monitor workflow
- support other managers with work flow peaks
- lead weekly team meetings
- conduct appraisals/one to one meetings
- ensuring all reports and communications are accurate
- abide by statutory and company regulations
- management of audit clients through good planning, documentation review and identification of risks to ensure accurate financial statements
- maintain high standards and a high level of technical knowledge
You will need to be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA) with RI status and at least 5 years post qualified experience within audit and at least 2 years leadership experience. You will also need to be very team orientated and results driven with strong communicationskills.
