RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a business that is a total provider to owners and operators of industrial gas turbines throughout the world, offering an employee skill base that equates to over 2000 man-years of OEM experience in industrialturbine maintenance solutions, with a particular specialization in the frame range of turbines designed by GE and their former business and manufacturing associates.

We thrive to deliver customer-focused gas turbine maintenance service solutions to the oil, gas and power industries. This is achieved by a continuous drive towards enhancing quality, health and safety with an emphasis on preventing personal injury, andenvironmental pollution, taking into account all legal and regulatory requirements.

Due to the continuing growth of our company, we are currently looking to appoint an experienced Field Engineer.

**Key duties & responsibilities will include**:

- Service, maintenance, and overhauls of industrial gas turbines.
- Supervised site staff during the strip down, inspection and reassembly of the GT to ensure the unit is rebuilt to the correct specification, safely and on time.
- Remote and site troubleshooting.
- Carry out site activities in accordance with customer-specific site requirements.
- Recording of all key dimensions and clearances required during the rebuild of units.
- Issue daily reports to the customer providing an update to the program and identifying problems encountered.
- Preparing final reports to accepted industry standard.
- Provide technical support to customers outwith field assignments.
- Responsible for implementing HSE policies at the site.

**Knowledge, Experience and Skills required**:

- SVQ/HNC Mechanical Engineering
- Extensive experience in the industrial gas turbine industry
- Experience in vibration analysis preferred but not essential
- Supervisory skills
- Negotiation skills
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Willing to travel
