**Job description**

Hubbway Hire, is a family run business with over 50 years experience in the Plant Hire Industry. We are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Mobile Plant Mechanic to help grow our expanding business. In a good working environment with flexibility, you will be working on a local and national basis, conducting on site breakdowns, site repairs and preventative maintenance servicing with customer satisfaction as priority. Helping the company build on its already excellent customer relationships. There is also the opportunity to grow within the business, with investment from the company.

**Main Responsibilities of the role**:

- Repairing construction plant breakdowns on site, fault finding and rectifying problems, using your extensive knowledge and experience maintaining our quality fleet
- Liaise with Service Manager regarding mechanical failures and advise progress
- Well organised. Obtaining and requesting parts necessary to carry out repairs in cost effective manner, completing inspection paperwork in relation to jobs carried out.
- Ensure work on site is carried out to the Company and legislative Health & Safety & Environmental standards.

**Qualifications**:

- NVQ Level 2 or above, or City & Guilds Plant Maintenance or similar
- CSCS Card holder

**Essential Criteria**:

- Experience in a Plant Fitting role
- Experience in Hydraulics, Electric Assembly, Diesel Engines, transmissions and Welding
- Full Driving licence
- Willingness to work as part of a team as well as being self motivated to work independently and use your own initiative

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £36,000.00 per year
