**This is what you'll be doing**:
The successful Buyer will be an integral part of the Procurement team, responsible for sourcing and managing professional supplier relationships. Your day-to-day activities will include:

- Driving Procurement excellence and adhering to operating principles and policies.
- Managing personal, departmental, and business metrics and KPIs.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop business and department agendas.
- Negotiating and managing Supply Agreements/Service Level agreements/contracts.
- Initiating and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Identifying alternative suppliers, conducting due diligence, and supporting vendor benchmarking.
- Balancing business-as-usual tasks with strategic procurement projects.
- Championing lean/continuous improvement approaches for sustainable outcomes.

**The experience you'll bring to the team**:

- Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proven track record in a similar role within a technical/manufacturing environment.
- Commercial awareness and experience in sourcing and procurement.
- Understanding of MRP/ERP systems and familiarity with product design and manufacturing processes.
