As the Safety and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the necessary expertise as it pertains to job functions, while reporting directly to the Safety and Compliance Monitoring Director Your primary role will be to supportthe continuation of approvals by monitoring compliance for the Part 145 approvals, as well as supporting the Safety and Compliance Monitoring Director in all correspondence and meetings with the relevant NAA, in particular FOCA.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

- Develop, in cooperation with European head office, and maintain the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP) regarding all Part-145 activities to ensure the Organisation remains compliant with all aspects of the regulations and ensuring that such a programis undertaken in accordance with the approved Audit Plan
- Conduct Quality & Compliance Audits
- Organize audit closing meetings, raise findings, and coordinate the execution of Root Cause Analysis and identification of Root Cause Corrections.
- Be responsible for monitoring findings, whether internal or external. This includes the reporting and monitoring of findings closure and administration.
- Assist Responsible Managers with tangible suggestions in addressing non-conformity
- Facilitate Risk Assessment and Management of Change exercises
- Classify safety reports and coordinate safety investigations with the responsible managers.
- Monitor subcontracted activities, by process of audit, ensuring capability and where necessary, facilitate the inclusion of that organization in the Management System.
- Develop and deliver the Company's technical and regulatory training plan for all staff.
- Ensure that staff records are maintained and catalogued for each job function and assessments for each function are established including basic/initial, type, and continuation training.
- Assist the responsible managers with the production of the training plan to meet regulatory requirements.
- Embrace the Company continuous improvement programs and contribute when required
Knowledge Required:

- Proven experience as a safety and compliance monitoring manager or a similar role, with a demonstrated track record of success.
- A planner with a clear focus on safety and high quality, able to develop and implement compliance monitoring plans that meet regulatory requirements and ensure the safety and airworthiness of aircraft.
- Flexibility and ability to manage varying demands and workloads, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and literacy skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable officially recognized standards, regulations, and guidelines related to safety and airworthiness in the aviation industry.
- In-depth knowledge of auditing techniques, including planning, conducting, and reporting, and experience in conducting quality and compliance audits.
- Strong knowledge of human factors, human performance, and limitations, and the ability to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
- In-depth knowledge of organizational capabilities, privileges, and limitations, and experience in managing and monitoring subcontracted activities.
- Thorough knowledge of Part-M, Part-145, and any other relevant regulations, as well as relevant parts of the maintenance organization exposition and procedures.
- Knowledge of occurrence reporting systems (mandatory and internal) and an understanding of the importance of reporting occurrences, incorrect maintenance data, and existing or potential defects.
- In-depth knowledge of safety risks linked to the working environment and experience in facilitating risk assessment and management of change exercises.
- Strong knowledge of Safety Management Systems and Just Culture, and a clear understanding of professional integrity, behaviour, and attitude towards safety.
- Understanding of conditions for ensuring the continuing airworthiness of aircraft and components, including the ability to identify and rectify existing and potential unsafe conditions.
- The ability to consider human performance and limitations and promote a safety policy that fosters a culture of safety throughout the organization.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to use IT systems to support safety and compliance monitoring activities.
- Analytical and proven auditing skills, including objectivity, fairness, open-mindedness, determination, and the ability to conduct maintenance error investigations.
