Airport Cleaner

Aviation Connection a specialist Division of The Best Connection, are currently recruiting for **AIRPORT CLEANERS** for our client at Bournemouth Airport, for seasonal contracts with the potential of permanent Employment.

Pay: £10.65 ( rising to £11.44 on 1 April with a further pay rise pending )

Shifts: 3 days on 3 days off to include weekends. (Av.30 hours pw)

Shifts are usually 8 hours and are usually 4am - midday and 1pm - 9pm but could require additional hours when required.

Due to the nature of the role you must be flexible to work shifts including bank holidays and weekends

Location: Bournemouth Airport

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**

Carrying out regular cleaning patrols of airport zones around the building both inside and outside of the terminals
All cleaning duties including Departure Lounge and Customer Toilets, mopping floors, emptying bins etc
Maintaining health and safety standards at all times
Ensuring that equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly
Dealing with any customer requests and queries if required
Carry out duties such as collecting passenger baggage trolleys and picking up litter on airport grounds

**Desired Skills and Knowledge**

Previous cleaning experience preferred but full training will be given.
Own transport is strongly preferred unless very local due to location and shift patterns. Free on-site staff parking is available.

Please note: Due to the nature of our business, we are regulated by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), therefore it is compulsory for all applicants to provide or be willing to obtain the following:
Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us)
Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc)
Provide a full 5-year address history
Attend an Aviation Security Course (Paid for by us)
