**About the role**

We have vacancy within the Sustainability Team for the role of Workstream Coordinator - Sustainability; this is a newly created post responsible for supporting the Council’s ambitious, transformative agenda around sustainability.

It presents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual capable of supporting a number of activities across our Sustainability programme. An ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders will be critical. You’ll lead on developing, implementing successful projects from the Climate Action Plan by supporting Theme Leads, in support of our climate change agenda.

**About you**

You will provide support in horizon scanning for regional and national policy development learning from best practice to inform next practice, as well as harnessing and promoting behaviour change to meet the Council’s Sustainability Objectives; sharing insights with theme leads and your colleagues across the Sustainability Team and wider directorate.

You will be an enthusiastic individual who is keen to drive change through our ambitious programme of delivery. As such you will have significant experience of managing projects across a number of different portfolios and be flexible to a ever changing landscape.
