**Overview**:
This multi disciplinary consultancy are looking to appoint a Senior or Associate level Building Surveyor to work on various developer led new build & refurbishment projects as well as client occupied projects across the built environment. Sectors include student accommodation, residential, warehousing, retail & commercial.

This organisation has a ‘Freedom Working’ policy in place whereby employees manage their own workloads, clients, fees & invoicing and where you want to work (allowing for at least one office day per week). This freedom will allow you to manage your clients and projects in your own style of working with colleagues on hand to help and provide advice when needed.

You will be joining an experienced and professional but relaxed working environment.

They provide a turnkey building surveying and consultancy solution for commercial, retail, industrial, and residential property stakeholders. Their services include building surveys, project monitoring, and project and cost management. In addition, they also provide expert consultancy for dilapidations, party wall matters, and contract administration.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:
Working predominately in the Commercial sector, you’ll be carrying out the following duties:

- Dilapidations
- Reinstatement Cost Assessments
- Schedules of Condition
- PPM
- Defect and Building Surveys
- Specification Writing
- Contract Administration
- Party Wall Surveying (not essential)

**Requirements**:

- MRICS qualified Building Surveyor desirable but not essential
- Detailed commercial and contractual knowledge
- Comfortable preparing reports with excellent client presentation skills
- Experience in various forms of building surveys
