**SHIPPING COORDINATOR - PART TIME (MORNINGS OVER 5 DAYS - 20 HRS WEEKLY)**

We have an exciting opportunity at Acoem UK for a part time Shipping Coordinator (20 hours per week).

This role will be Tewkesbury based in our head office. This is a critical role for us, as every customer order or repair comes in and out through these doors. Accuracy and speed is critical to keep our commitments to our customers. We value a Right First Time and methodical approach to everything that we do.

This role is based in the heart of our headquarters in Tewkesbury. We don’t have a large warehouse, but choose to operate in a compact and friendly environment which is office based, so you will be working alongside our inhouse service team and admin colleagues. Please note this job will require some heavy lifting.

Your primary focus is to ensure all goods that come in and out of our offices are correctly logged, labelled, packed and expedited in an efficient manner. Other activities include answering the phone and door to our customers, suppliers and any other visitors. POSITION PURPOSE/OBJECTIVES:

- Organise goods in and out shipments in a timely manner.
- Keep accurate records of stock levels and demo equipment locations.
- Ensure the stores department is well organised and tidy at all times to maintain safety and organisation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Answer door and phone and provide assistance to visitors/delivery drivers and contractors, where relevant ensure they are signed in and the relevant staff member is aware of their arrival.
- Receiving goods in deliveries and logging them in, making relevant personnel aware the same day.
- Daily shipping responsibilities, packing, paperwork and scheduling of goods-in / goods-out shipments to be carried out as scheduled with the other internal departments/clients in a timely manner.
- Liaise with internal teams, customers and suppliers regarding shipments and coordination in a timely manner.
- Monitoring and maintaining stock as required.
- Organisation of all shipping related documents, incoming and outgoing.
- Liaising with suppliers to track warranty and service returns - keeping internal customers updated.
- Maintaining field staff calibration kit - rotating and arranging annual calibrations with suppliers. Liaising with internal operations / scheduling team to plan in advance.
- WEEE and Batteries reporting using designated sheets
- Monitoring and reporting on Carbon footprint of our freight / courier suppliers to ensure we are working with sustainable options

SKILLS:

- Attention to detail and high regard for quality, safety and efficiency.
- Work with mínimal supervision and manage time effectively.
- Be adaptable to changes in job priorities.
- Deliver under tight deadlines.
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and software tools.
- Excellent communication skills - develop relationships with customers as well as liaising with courier and freight companies
- Friendly phone manner.
