Deputy Caretaker position

Full-time salary £25,000 -£27,000 including an outer fringe allowance of £663 pa, based on 37 hours per week Hourly rate: £12.50-£14.00 including outer fringe allowance

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a shift rota to include 1 Saturday or Sunday every 4 weeks (day off in the week given) Start Date: As soon as possible

We are looking for a Deputy Caretaker to start as soon as possible. The successful job holder will be a practical person who has initiative and will take pride in the upkeep and appearance of our school. Will assist the Main Caretaker in providing a clean,healthy and safe environment for users of the school buildings and grounds. The role will have a focus on normal caretaking/cleaning duties including external areas of the school, but will also involve some gardening and outdoor maintenance.

This will be a full-time position working 37 hours per week. Hours to be fully discussed and will include shift working. The hours of shift working are 8.00am to 4.00pm, 11.00am to 7.00pm and 2.00pm to 10.00pm.
