**Be a Team Manager**
At Prior’s Court we offer residential care for young people with complex autism aged between 5 and 25. As a Team Manager you could help us continue to provide the best outcomes for the young people in our care.

**Team Manager - the role**
At Prior’s Court, we work as a team - and with a ‘family feel’ you’ll find a culture of support, openness and a real love for our work, and the difference we can make. Day-to-day, you’ll be working with our Learning & Wellbeing Management team, and you would be taking responsibility for the day-to-day organisation of a team of Autism Practitioners within our residential homes.
You will be using your experience and knowledge of complex autism and/or learning disabilities care to support your team in delivering excellent outcomes for young people, enabling them to lead fulfilling and purposeful lives. You will:
- Manage, coach, and mentor a team of Autism Practitioners
- Support the recruitment and induction process
- Manage staff attendance and performance
- Ensure the use of autism-friendly strategies (the Prior Approach) to provide learning and wellbeing support
- Understand and support others to understand and implement young people’s care plans
You will be expected to work Early and Late shifts across a seven-day week - 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Our Early shift is from 7am to 4pm and the Late shift is 2pm to 10pm.
**Qualifications and experience**
To succeed as a Team Manager, you’ll need a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, and have worked as a support worker with autism or learning disability experience in another organisation. You’ll have some experience of managing a small team and coaching and mentoring colleagues.
