**Senior Buyer - Banbury**

**Position**:Senior Buyer

**Location**:Banbury

**Type**: Permanent

**Salary**:£32,000 - £36,000 DOE

**Hours**: Monday - Thursday: 08.00 - 16:30

Friday - 08:00 - 15:30

Our client has a great new opportunity and is looking for a Senior Buyer to join their expanding team. You will be essentially responsible for developing and managing the purchasing process smoothly by building strong relationships with internal and externalstakeholders. You will be liaising with sustainably approved suppliers sourcing materials required at competitive margins and budgets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaising and building strong working relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor stock levels and sales orders to identify purchasing needs and process purchase orders.
- Support the customer service and sales teams for sourcing of products to fulfil customer requirements when needed.
- Manage product costs, operations costs, delivery costs, etc
- Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Liaise with customer service department regarding product delays or potential issues in supply chain.
- Coordinate with the operations team regarding product quality, management of required stock levels and availability, and oversee the supplier returns process.
- Management of supplier accreditations and sustainability and maintenance of BOMS.
- Liaise with the Head of Operations and supply chain as required when there are supplier or product issues.
- Maintain and update all systems with supplier records and pricing.

**Essential**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and problem-solving ability.
- The ability to build effective relationships with internal and external parties.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Use of procurement software - CRM
