Placements Coordinator

We are seeking to appoint a Placements Coordinator to join our Central Placements Team based within the Careers department on a 0.4 FTE (14.5 hours per week) on an indefinite basis. This will be a job-share with our existing Placements Coordinator to meet the continued growth in demand for the Central Placements scheme which is offered to students from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) and the Faculty of Health and Medicine (FHM).

This is a busy and varied role therefore you will need excellent organisation and time management skills in order to meet competing demands. You will be communicating with multiple stakeholders including internal staff across the University, external employers and current students therefore a customer-focused approach to work is important. You will be managing multiple databases and completing due diligence checks including contractual, health and safety and visa requirements, therefore attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and IT skills are essential.
