Assistant Technical Coordinator

Casanovas Recruitment Solutions are delighted to be representing one of the UK’s leading contractors based in Chelmsford, who are looking for an Assistant Technical Coordinator to join their growing team.

**Responsibilities of Assistant Technical Coordinator**:
This role will:

- Assist in coordinating the production and review of detailed working drawing package from approved planning drawings within agreed fee budgets and design programmes
- Be involved in the appointment of Design Consultants.
- Provide technical support and information to the construction, commercial and sales departments and liaise closely with all departments and Group companies.
- Work with the technical team in checking compliance with Client’s requirements, current Building Regulations, NHBC Standards, and relevant BS.
- Assist in obtaining unconditional consents and approvals from Clients and all statutory authorities and external bodies
- Work alongside the technical team to monitor the subcontract drawing approval process
- Coordinate the submission of Building Regulation packages and co-ordinate approvals and Building Control condition discharges, including agreeing requirements and deciding for post completion testing
- Assist the Technical team in reviewing all design and technical information to ensure accuracy, detail, buildability, and value
- Support the procurement of new utility supplies, utility diversions, plot connections and temporary Services
- Support the wider team with adhoc duties as and when required
- Assist in the production of plot, project home user guides and project Health & Safety Files
- Uploading and ongoing management of company document management system
- Coordinate and prepare sales and legal information including, conveyance and management plans
- Review sales brochures for technical accuracy

**Experience of an Assistant Technical Coordinator**:

- Have previous construction experience or currently be in a construction-based education
- Possess good time management skills and be comfortable working to deadlines
- Work well within a team, but also be happy working individually
- Be keen to learn how to be a great communicator
