Excellent role for a Design Manager looking to join an internationally leading company where you can work autonomously on technically challenging and bespoke projects and lead a team of talented Design Engineers.
Are you an experienced in Design Engineering? Do you have managerial experience looking to join a well-established manufacturing company.
On offer is the chance to get on board and take a pivotal role at one of their key sites and shape the development of a crucial part of their business.
This company are a well-established, highly revered manufacturing company in the Plymouth area with sites across the world who not only are renowned for the quality of their products but also for being a leading and progressive employer within the area.Due to growth, they are currently looking for a Design Manager to join a highly skilled team in a varied and technical role.
This would suit either an experience Design Engineer with some managerial/supervisory experience or a Design Manager, looking to join a global leading company that rewards their employees.
The Role:
- Management and hands on role, overseeing a small team of engineers to develop customer solutions
- Liaise directly with customers who include some household names within IT and Social Media sphere
The Person:
- Design Engineer with managerial experience or currently a Design Manager
- Experience using 3D design software
- Creo 3 and/or Inventor CAD desirable but not essential
- DFMEA & Six Sigma highly advantageous
