- Routine kitchen cleaning tasks as directed by the Head/Second Chef or in accordance with the kitchen cleaning schedule.
- Basic food preparation tasks directed by the Head/Second Chef.
- Helping to clean the various areas of the business, where workload allows, as directed by the Manager.
- Helping to maintain very high standards of kitchen hygiene in accordance with the Food Safety Act.

**Main Duties**:

- Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation and presentation.
- Completion of in house risk compliance documentation
- Washing, drying and putting away of all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, pots and pans and occasionally glassware.
- Regular sweeping and mopping of kitchen area floors.
- Regularly removing refuse from kitchen and depositing it in the relevant external bins.
- Helping to ensure excellent and enduring standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen department. This includes both food hygiene and personal hygiene.
- Following cleaning schedules and recording information as necessary.
- Cleaning and day to day maintenance of all kitchen appliances and utensils including the reporting of anyfaults or maintenance issues to the Head Chef
- Monitoring and replenishing kitchen cleaning chemicals as required
- Assisting in effective discharge of all relevant statutory requirements within the kitchen department andpublic areas. These include health & safety, food safety and fire safety.
- Being aware of company policies, practice and procedures as outlined in the company Staff Handbook
- To undertake such other duties and reasonable requests as required by the business or commensuratewith the role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour
