**Shift Times**:Various start times between 11am and 4pm (10 hour shifts - 1 hour Break)
**Location**: Enfield, North London (EN3 4NQ)

DHL's Patient Transfer Service (PTS) transports patients between hospitals, home and other places such as care homes. Our ambulance service provides non-urgent and non-specialist services, but also has the facility to transport high dependency patients.

**WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?**
- Working as a single or double crew, responsible for the care of patients in the ambulance, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times
- Transporting patients to and from various locations for appointments and treatment
- Ensure Patient data is completed accurately and in real time during a working shift (pick up, drop times and any change in patient information).
- Following the highway code, UK road legislation and DHL driving standards at all times when driving the ambulance
- Ensuring the vehicle is always clean and tidy, and that defects are reported at the start of the shift or when the defect occurs.

***WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?**
- Previous experience as a care giver would be advantageous
- The ability to work in a role that requires manual handling, and at times heavy lifting of patients
- Knowledge of the Highway Code and UK Road Signs (a multiple choice theory test is conducted at interview stage)
- Pass a Drug and Alcohol test
