Chevron Green Services is a leading provider of commercial soft estate, arboriculture and environmental consultancy services across the UK.

Our consultancy business, Chevron Green Consultancy, provides bespoke professional advisory and consultancy services to help clients create sustainable environments by developing and improving maintenance and management schemes. Our consultancy expertise includes arboriculture, landscape management, environmental, ecological and asset management.

About the role of Admin Assistant

Chevron Green Services Ltd are seeking a new member of office staff; an Administration Assistant to work in our Head Office based in Presteigne, Powys. A combination of office based and working from home can be accommodated, as can some adjustment to the working hours to allow for family commitments.

Currently there are 6 members of the office team, providing full and part time admin, financial and personnel support from the Presteigne office to in the region of 100 members of staff in depots from Doncaster to Southampton. We are a lively and supportive team who enjoy working together on a variety of projects and we look forward to welcoming a new member of staff.
- Accurate logging of a variety of data. Collating reports from a variety of data: e.g. near misses, site audits etc.
- Monitoring certificate expiry dates to identify training needs for compliance.
- Booking training courses with approved providers.
- Using databases, spreadsheets etc. to access information on request.
- Taking ownership of allocated responsibilities to maintain and potentially improve data collection.
- Other general administration duties to support the business and busy office, answering the phone, dealing with any mail and assisting others in the office or wider business.

What good looks like for an Admin Assistant
- Attention to detail and a logical approach to organisation.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office - particularly Excel, Word and SharePoint.
- Able to assimilate quickly into using multiple new systems.
- Keen to learn and follow established processes.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.

What else looks good for an Admin Assistant
- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning platforms would be a bonus, but not essential.
- Team player, good communicator, flexible approach and able to deal efficiently with work, even under the occasional time sensitive conditions.
- Willing to take responsibility for own duties and assist, when required, in helping others.
