Senior Hydrogeologist

**Senior Hydrogeologist - Southampton**

My client, a market leading bespoke company that specalise in waste management are searching for a Senior Hydrogeologist to join an experienced team and manage all environmental, groundwater and surface water based assessments for construction projects acrossthe UK.

**Requirements**:
Excellent knowledge of common analytical modelling packages including ConSim and the Environment Agency/DEFRA guidance on risk assessment for environmental permits.

Chartered Membership of relevant professional body.

Knowledge of aggregates standards and testing requirements/methods.

Lead delivery of projects covering all aspects of water resources preparing technical reports for qualitative and quantitative controlled waters risk assessment.

Excellent technical understanding of hydrogeology.

Develop robust conceptual site models, sourcing and using relevant ground conditions data from published sources and site investigations, IBAA product data, development design and engineering details information

Mentor team members, providing support when needed.

Preparing bids and contract documents.

Ensure projects are delivered to time and budget and comply with company standards and environmental legislations.

Liaise with stakeholder and clients, attending meetings when needed.

Manage projects.

Complete Quantitative controlled waters risk assessments including groundwater contaminant transport modelling and surface water quality risk assessments.
